Our Guests

At present we have approximately 45 horses / ponies who we are caring for, as well as six in livery (who help towards our costs).

Although we primarily care for abandoned horses and ponies we have somehow managed to 'adopt' a variety of other animals who have found themselves homeless, including donkeys, cows, goats, and cats (who in theory are meant to keep rodents at bay).

Below we have provided pictures and details of a few of our 'guests', and you can see more on our Sponsor a Guest page.

Coco, a Strawberry Roan, values her freedom at the sanctuary (i.e. she is difficult to catch).

Dillon was saved from the slaughterhouse by one of our volunteers and has been broken in for riding and jumping.

Anna (diagnosed with cancer) and her daughter Katie (said to be a slow grower) were destined to be put down, but have been with us since 2001 are are both doing well.
