As a non-profit making organisation, all funds are used to provide food and shelter for the animals and to maintain and improve our facilities.  Our average monthly expenditure (we use less feed / bedding during summer as many of our animals are out to grass)is almost £1600 per month, made up as follows:

Rates - £175
75 bales of straw @ £2 per bale - £150
75 bales of hay @ £4 per bale - £300
15 trailer of carrots @ £30 / trailer - £150
Hard Feed @ £250
Worming @ £35
Farrier fees @ £250
Equine Dentist fees @ £65
Vets fees @ £200
Telephone @ £15

Total = £1,700 per month

On top of our monthly expenses we have a 'Wish List' of items needed for projects to improve the facilities for our animals.
